QUALITY CONTROLS

INUNUP makes use of a staff of Quality Control technicians, who guarantee the conformity of all the supply chain activities aimed at the release of the finished product.
- Quality controls on raw materials, bulk or purchased packs.
- Quality controls during bulk production.
- Quality controls during filling and packaging operations.
- Quality controls on finished products to be shipped.

SUPPLIERS AND SUPPLIES

The quality management system implemented by INUNUP provides for a process of preventive qualification and final technical-economic assessment of suppliers, carried out by the Purchasing Department Manager, in order to be able to distinguish strategic suppliers from critical ones.
For purchased supplies (packaging, raw materials, bulk, etc.), INUNUP carries out specific incoming controls in order to guarantee their quality and conformity. Before being introduced into the production chain, every single raw material, packaging material and bulk must comply with quality standards and, therefore, be controlled and validated using specific procedures and operating instructions.

AREAS, SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT

The production and storage areas have been designed taking into consideration the following aspects:
- Intended use of the areas for their definition.
- Material and personnel flows.
- Environmental microbiological control.
- Warehouse area temperature control.
- Surface cleaning.
- Pet control.
The systems and equipment used for the production, filling, packaging, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products are regularly subjected to maintenance so that nothing can affect the quality of the finished product.

PRODUCTION, FILLING AND PACKAGING

The quality controls for the production, filling and packaging activities are organized in three moments:
- At start-up (customer documentation, work area, systems, personnel, raw/bulk materials and packaging).
- During the process (weight, color, chemical-physical parameters, operation).
- On the finished product (label, batch, seal of the primary packaging closure system, secondary packaging, chemical-physical parameters, microbiological parameters).

FINISHED PRODUCT RELEASE

The quality management system guarantees the presence of an internal organization responsible for the release of finished products only after verifying that each batch complies with the established requirements, through specific certificates and production documents.
The quality management system also provides for the management of products that do not fall within the specification (non-conforming products).
